Discover the Vallée de Coeur hiking trail from Le Cochenet, ideal for experienced hikers (red level). Your journey begins in the forest, where the trail gently rises before opening out onto the vast expanses of the Coeur Valley mountain pastures. The trail then takes you up to the ridge at the Petit Pâtre hut, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Aravis chain and Mont Blanc from the picnic tables provided. You'll then head towards Tête Noire, where you'll be able to enjoy this panorama even more, before heading back down into the forest to reach Abérieu and its farm, a point of interest in the village of Cordon. You'll finish your walk sheltered by the trees on a path leading back to the Cochenet parking lot.
