Take off from the Tête du Planet with your own wing! Whether you're paragliding or hang gliding.
Takeoff is possible from the northeast to the south, passing through the east.
Landing is possible in the village on the mowed fields, at the bottom of the slopes next to the restaurant “Chez Mireille,” or in the valley. Caution: Landing in the village in the afternoon can be turbulent.
Thermal activity starting in the morning—good conditions for cross-country flying.
Hazards to note in the flying area:
The favorable breeze for takeoff is from the south. Be careful, however: if the weather trend is toward a southerly wind, dangerous foehn conditions may develop in the air.
Also be aware of the breeze, which can be strong in the afternoon in the valley.
Ski lift cables at the Cordon ski resort. They are much lower than the takeoff point and pose little hindrance.
