Croix du Planet - hiking trail

A relatively steep hike, with a magnificent panorama at the summit, dominated by the Croix du Planet.

Discover the Croix du Planet hiking trail, starting from Le Refuge restaurant. This demanding hike is suitable for experienced walkers (red level - difficult). At the summit, an exceptional panoramic view of the valley and Mont-Blanc awaits you.

This hike also welcomes your faithful four-legged companions (on a leash), making it the perfect opportunity to share moments of complicity in the heart of nature.

Once you've reached the summit, you can continue along the ridge towards the Petit Pâtre hut, where picnic tables provide a well-deserved break.

Please note: if you climb to the tête du Planet from le Chanté, there are two paths to the summit: the path on the right requires you to climb the rock, while the path on the left is a little steeper and leads under the Croix.

1/ Park at the Le Refuge restaurant parking lot.
2/ Climb towards Le Chanté, then follow Tête du Planet.
3/ Take the same route back down, towards Le Chanté and then Le Refuge.
