Every August 15, Place de Cordon comes alive to the sound of drums and the clatter of weapons: grenadiers march—some in period uniforms—to offer visitors demonstrations of maneuvers and marksmanship.
A tradition that has been alive for over 210 years, a symbol of our village’s pride and history.
The Cordon Grenadiers are passionate volunteers from the village.
You can meet the association during the August 15th Festival, also known as the Fête de la Miou, as well as in the winter on Place Mont-Blanc during friendly get-togethers over a light snack.
