Village loop - walking trail

A short loop through the center of the village of Cordon, ideal for discovering the charm of the "Balcon du Mont-Blanc" and its small hamlets.

A walk in the center of the village, close to the houses and a small stream.
Ideal for walkers who enjoy gentle slopes.

Information of 13/05/2026: Please note that on the section between the village center parking lot and the "Cart" sawmill, a herd of cattle with guard dogs is located near the path. Protection dogs will be present for about ten days.

1/ Park in the large parking lot in the village center and head for the bottom of the parking lot (downhill side) for a 30-minute stroll.
2/ Take the dirt track down to the stream. At the end of the track, turn left and follow the road up to the stop sign.
3/ At the stop sign, cross the road, go back up to the asphalt road and take the path on the right, the "Vuaz" path, which climbs up towards the church, behind the bakery.
4/ Once you've reached the church, walk back to the parking lot.
