MTB route no. 57, the Boucle du Pont de la Flée, is a varied route between forest and civilization. This circuit offers a fine balance between gradual ascent and playful descent, ideal for mountain bikers in search of nature and thrills.
The Boucle du Pont de la Flée (route no. 57) is a mountain bike circuit offering a mix of forest trails and roads near the village of Cordon and the town of Sallanches.
The gradual climb allows you to appreciate the beauty of the village of Cordon from its hillsides, before reaching the Pont de la Flée, located in the heart of the forest.
The descent from the heights of Sallanches is ideal for thrill-seekers! But watch out for the climb back up through the Bois de Fessy, which will put your thighs to the test and demand a great deal of physical effort!
Please note that the length of the loop will vary according to the type of bike you have:
1/ Depart from the Cordon tourist office, for a 1h45-minute ride, if you have a mountain bike.
2/ Head for Chemin des écoles, then up Route des Miaz, and on to the hamlet of Abérieux (following the signs for Ferme de l'Abérieux).
3/ Once in front of the farm, continue towards Pont de la Flée.
4/ At Pont de la Flée, continue along the forest road towards Lintre (Sallanches).
5/ At Lintre, head down the hillside to arrive in front of the Church of Sallanches.
6/ Once in front of the church, follow the signs for the old Route de Combloux, and take the Chemin de Fessy.
7/ Once you've reached the route de Nant-Cruy, continue uphill towards Cordon, to arrive in the village center, in front of the tourist office.
