Snowshoe hike to the Croix de Tête Noire, which offers a splendid view of the Mont-Blanc massif and the whole valley.
This walk can be continued to the Bénés plateau.
Leaving Le Péray, a fairly steep, shady path leads to one of Cordon's most beautiful viewpoints.
Amidst typical alpine chalets, a 360° panorama covers the Mont Blanc, Aravis and Fiz ranges.
You can continue on to the plateau des Bénés, a gentle and very pleasant but unmarked walk that can be enjoyed until spring.
1/ Leave the Peray parking lot for a 1h30 walk.
2/ Turn right onto the path marked "Croix de Tête Noire".
3/ Once out of the forest at Plan Mousy, continue walking along the path which takes you to the left, towards Mouilles de Brey.
4/ Then take the path to the right, which leads you past the Croix de Tête Noire. You've arrived!
NB: if you wish to go to the Plateau des Bénés (unmarked route), at Mouilles de Brey, instead of turning right, take the left-hand path. In less than 30 minutes you'll reach the Plateau des Bénés.
