A walking (or snowshoeing) trail starting at the church in Cordon, offering a chance to explore the village and its hillsides, farms, granaries, and bread ovens... A short loop, but with a fairly steep section halfway through.
This loop trail, which combines hiking trails and roads, will allow you to explore the iconic village of Cordon from a higher vantage point. You’ll enjoy a splendid view of the Mont Blanc massif and the village.

Snowshoe and summer trail map from Cordon Tourisme
1/ Park in the large parking lot in the village center and walk to the church. Get ready for a 1-hour-and-15-minute hike!
2/ Take the marked trail that climbs to the right of the church, then head toward La Plagne d’en Bas and La Plagne.
3/ Take the Route de la Plagne south, then cross the Route des Miaz. Join the trail, but at the fork, do not cross the stream (south side). Head back down the path toward La Scie.
4/ Once you reach La Scie, continue downhill until you reach Darbaillets.
5/ At Darbaillets, walk along the sidewalk back to the village center, then return to your starting parking lot.
