Croise Baulet - Grand Croisse Baulet du Refuge

Hike in the forest and on the balcony, before heading for the mountain pastures where the sheep graze; from the summit of Croise Baulet you can enjoy a vast 360° panorama of the Aravis and Mont Blanc massif.

Access: From the Refuge parking lot Take the path up towards Chanté. At the top of the slopes, follow Cabane du Petit Pâtre. Once at the hut, follow signs for Croisse Baulet. A panoramic view of this superb 2,236-metre peak in the commune of Cordon, and its famous bench for a well-deserved rest. The chalet du Petit Pâtre, as its name suggests, is both a shelter for the shepherd and for passing hikers. Return down the same path you took on the way up. Please note: patous and sheep on the Baulet croisse will be working the mountain pasture until 22/09.
