Description

Snowshoe hike starting from the hamlet of Nant-Cruy (commune of Sallanches near Cordon) offering a beautiful loop through the forest, continuing on to the heights of Nant-Cruy and Combloux. Intermittent views of the Aravis mountains and the Mont-Blanc massif.

Loop for hikers with a fair amount of walking experience, through forests and over the heights of hamlets. A trail in the heart of nature, far from the roads.

Marking

The Boucle des Granges trail is signposted in fuchsia.

Amenities

Guided steps

1/ Leave from the parking lot on route des Granges, for a 2h15 hike.
2/ Join the snowshoe itinerary 20 minutes' walk from the parking lot, up the route des Granges.
3/ At the top of the route des Granges, follow the snowshoe itinerary down towards Les Lovatières, then Les Montavus.
4/ At Les Montavus, the loop climbs back up to reach the hamlet of Les Granges. Take the opposite route back to the parking lot.
