Like explorers, we'll gradually change the way we look at these the "little beasts". This workshop takes place outdoors, and its educational approach is playful, cognitive and scientific. Activity sequence Let's begin our exploration with a morphological observation to differentiate them from other animal species. They all have features in common, yet there are so many of them! Games and stories help us understand the unimaginable variety of insects on our planet. Let's set off like explorers in search of them. In the schoolyard, in a flowery field, in the undergrowth of a forest, in the hollow of a dead tree or in the city... the choice of environment is vast! Using magnifying glasses, small boxes and nets, we survey the area and discover an unknown universe. What did we catch? What's this family, this insect? Now it's time to identify them using simplified keys. Let's end our adventure with a look at the indispensable role played by these billions of insects. Learning objectives : - Learn about insect biodiversity, classification and morphology. - Adopt an attitude of observation and eco-responsible gestures. - Immerse yourself in an environment and discover its interactions. - Learn to use a determination key. - Identify the important role of insects in the environment, and their links with man.
