Description

Founded by Canon Devémy for the sanatorial population, designed by Maurice Novarina and consecrated in 1950, the Plateau d'Assy church was decorated, with the advice of Dominican Father Marie-Alain Couturier, by the greatest masters of modern art
(Jean Bazaine, Pierre Bonnard, Georges Braque, Marc Chagall, Fernand Léger, Jean Lurçat, Henri Matisse, Germaine Richier, Georges Rouault, Chaim Jacob Lipchitz, Marguerite Huré, Théodore Strawinsky, Carlo Sergio Signori, Adeline Hébert-Stevens). In 2004, the building was classified as a Historic Monument and awarded the "Patrimoine du XXème siècle" label.

From 20/12/2025 to 04/01/2026 daily between 10 am and 5 pm. From 05/01 to 06/02/2026 on Friday and weekends between 10 am and 5 pm. From 07/02 to 08/03/2026 daily between 10 am and 5 pm.
