Mylène Micoton - Crochet designer
Description
Mylène is a local craftswoman who creates various types of crocheted objects. She also offers workshops.
My name is Mylène, married, with 2 children, I live in a pretty little village in Haute-Savoie called Cordon.
Since I was a little girl, I've always loved manual activities both at school and at home, attracted by the results of DIY (do it yourself).
When my first daughter was born, I started sewing, making various everyday objects: handbags, wallets, etc. I really enjoyed this period, but I wasn't fully satisfied. In 2019, I started crocheting large-sized comforters. Today, I'm working on smaller models called "Amigurumis" for their cuteness.
What a pleasure to start with a piece of wool yarn and make a 3D comforter that a child will cherish. The bright or pastel colors bring us into their world. It's even more fun to imagine a comforter come to life by embroidering its face. To be a little trendy, I like to make cartoon-inspired characters and see the children take pride in them and play with them.
All my supplies are CE-guaranteed, the fabrics and wool are OEKO-TEX, the eyes are safe, the teething rings are made of soft wood without treatment or paint....
Everything is designed for the well-being and safety of children, for the peace of mind of parents.
