Dora Baltea Rafting Day and Half Day

Descent on the Dora Baltea on a boat of 6-7 people, supervised by a state-certified rafting guide. 3 courses in the day out of 6 possible chosen according to the water level and that of the crew. One of the most beautiful European rivers!

Venue/route : The Dora Baltée river, Aosta Valley in Italy. 2 or 3 river runs (level III-IV) out of 6 possible sections (choice is made depending on water level). Activity duration : day - depart 8.30-9.00 am, return about 5.30-6.00pm. Level : III-IV, difficult. Kit provided : wet suit, jacket, neoprene socks, lifejacket, helmet. Kit to bring : swimming costume and towel, glasses clip, ID card/passport. Session includes : 40 minute drive by minibus from our base in Passy (30 minutes from Chamonix), ready for a little coffee in La Fontina before attacking the turbulent waters of the Dora Baltée. 2 or 3 runs down the most beautiful sections of this legendary river. A water course that is both technical and full, the Dora is definitely the place to go white water rafting. After a first warm-up run, we’ll select the runs best suited to your capabilities, combining thrills with safety. Led by fully qualified guides, you’ll have an absolutely amazing time in the middle of the Aosta Valley.
