Bérard waterfall
Description
Half an hour from the hamlet of Le Buet, follow a pretty path to the Berard waterfall. The path begins to the left of Hotel du Buet and takes your through the typical hamlet of La Poya, which once provided shelter for the village’s goatherds.
You will come across a walkway built on the right bank of the torrent. From here, you can enjoy a close-up view of the turbulent mountain stream that descends the slopes of the Aiguilles Rouges. Other interesting fact about this site: the infamous counterfeiter Joseph Samuel Farine took refuge in the nearby cave.
