Urban artists have created a contemporary art circuit within resort by performing works of art in several unusual places. The underground car park located in the centre of Saint-Gervais has been transformed into a monumental and unprecedented platform dedicated to modern art. The north facing facade of the post office offers a very different interpretation of the surrounding summits. Finally, the walls of the gondola stations in Saint-Gervais, Le Bettex and Mont d’Arbois and those of the swimming pool in Saint-Gervais, are decorated with a selection of original works. To complete the picture, discover the fresco by Francois Durafour: an entire wall painted to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the landing of the first plane on the “Col du Dome”
